Terms of Service

Exposed: Who’s Most Likely To
Last updated: October 18, 2026

These Terms apply to your use of Exposed: Who’s Most Likely To, referred to below as Exposed or the App. The provider is Mustafa Berkay Mutlu, Germany. Our contact details and legal notice appear below.

These Terms form part of your agreement with us when validly presented and accepted. The store’s terms also apply to downloads and purchases. Nothing here removes rights that the law gives consumers. Accepting these Terms does not give consent to optional personal data processing.

1. What Exposed does

Exposed is a party game for playing with friends on one device or in online rooms. Players choose question decks, play rounds and see game results. Some decks and features require an Exposed Plus subscription. The App shows which content requires premium access.

You do not need an Exposed account. Online multiplayer needs an internet connection. Purchases use your Apple or Google store account. Achievements and leaderboards use Apple Game Center or Google Play Games and the relevant platform account.

Google Play Games is initialised when the Android App starts. On iOS, the App installs a Game Center authentication handler on launches after onboarding has been completed. The platform may display a sign-in screen. These services operate independently of the optional analytics setting. You can play the party game without signing in to a game services account; platform achievements and leaderboards depend on that account and service availability.

2. Age and suitable content

Exposed is not intended for children under 13. Store age ratings describe content suitability; they are not an in-app age check. The App currently has no in-app age verification or parental consent verification process.

If you are a minor, a parent or legal guardian must agree to your use and purchases where the law requires their permission. Store controls and ratings do not replace any legal requirements that apply to you or to us.

Some decks contain mature themes, including flirting and references to alcohol. Choose content suitable for everyone in your group. No player has to answer a question, take part in a dare or drink alcohol. Stop or move past a question if anyone is uncomfortable. Do not use the App to encourage unsafe or unlawful conduct.

3. Responsible use

Use the App for personal entertainment and respect other players. Do not:

Restrictions on copying, modification or reverse engineering do not override rights that applicable law makes non-excludable.

You can report an offensive name, photo or other concern to support@laughter.app. Include the room code and relevant details if available, but do not send unnecessary private information. The in-app question report feature concerns questions; it is not a player blocking or photo moderation tool.

4. Questions and game results

Questions, votes and results are entertainment, not statements of fact about a person or professional advice. Respect other players’ boundaries and privacy when discussing or sharing results. This description does not limit our responsibility for the App under applicable law.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Buying premium access

Exposed Plus is offered through in-app purchases billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Before you confirm, the purchase screen and store checkout show the offer, price, currency, billing period and applicable renewal conditions. Any trial or introductory offer applies only if shown in your offer, with its duration, eligibility and subsequent price.

Your purchase confirmation and applicable store terms identify the seller and payment arrangements for your country. We use RevenueCat to check purchase and subscription status. We do not collect your full payment card or bank details in the App.

Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. If an offer includes a trial or introductory period, it changes to the displayed paid or standard price unless you cancel by the deadline shown by the store. Renewal charges are made using your store payment method under the store’s billing rules.

Cancel before the deadline displayed for your subscription. Apple advises cancelling a free or discounted trial at least 24 hours before it ends. Google Play’s cancellation and renewal rules may differ. Check the subscription details in the store you used.

Cancellation and restoring purchases

You can manage or cancel a subscription through the purchasing store:

Ordinary cancellation stops future renewal. Access normally continues for the remaining paid period, subject to the store’s rules and any refund or statutory termination. Trial access may end sooner under the store’s trial conditions.

Uninstalling Exposed, deleting your data or signing out of Game Center or Play Games does not cancel a subscription.

The App provides Restore Purchases. Use the same purchasing store account when restoring. Restoration depends on that account’s eligible purchases and the store’s rules; these Terms do not promise transfer between Apple and Google.

Price changes

Any change to a recurring price must follow applicable law and the store’s notice and consent requirements. The new price does not change a period you have already paid for. You can cancel future renewal before a new price takes effect. A notice alone does not replace consent where consent is required.

Refunds and withdrawal

For store refund requests, use Apple’s refund service or Google Play’s refund policy. You can also contact us for assistance or to exercise rights against us. Store procedures do not replace mandatory remedies or make a claim against us dependent on a store granting a refund.

EU and EEA consumers generally have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts, subject to the rules for the particular purchase. UK consumers also have applicable statutory cancellation rights. The seller’s checkout information should explain how to exercise those rights.

Starting a subscription or using premium content does not, by itself, waive a withdrawal right. Any early loss of that right requires the conditions set by the applicable law, including any required separate express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation. Digital content and ongoing digital services can have different rules. Nothing in these Terms supplies a blanket waiver or excludes a refund required by law.

6. Online rooms, names and photos

Online rooms use a room code. Share the code only with people you want to play with. A room code is not a guarantee of confidentiality.

Your chosen player name, avatar and optional profile photo are shared through our servers with players in the room. Game activity, votes and results are processed to run the game. Use a nickname if you prefer. Only upload a photo you are entitled to use, with permission from anyone whose permission is needed.

Room photos are served through public URLs. Anyone with the photo URL can access the photo without joining the room. Other people may save photos, take screenshots or share links. Removing a photo from your player card does not guarantee immediate deletion of the uploaded file or of copies held by others.

Rooms have a default expiry timestamp four hours after creation. Expiry is a condition for cleanup, not a guaranteed deletion deadline. The scheduled cleanup runs every six hours and can postpone removal while players are online, while activity or reconnection protections apply, or if cleanup fails. Empty lobbies become candidates after two hours. Photo cleanup and room deletion are separate steps in that process.

Ending a game or leaving a room does not instantly erase its data. Device identities, technical command records and cleanup records follow different retention rules. See the Privacy Policy for details and deletion limitations.

7. Ownership and permission to use content

We and our licensors retain rights in the App and its protected content. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it for personal purposes. Applicable store usage rules and open-source licences remain effective.

You retain your rights in photos and other content you supply. You give us only the permission needed to store, transmit and display that content to provide the features you use. This includes making a multiplayer photo available at its public URL as explained above. It does not give us permission to use your photo in advertising.

That permission lasts only as needed to provide the requested feature and complete the applicable removal process. Technical retention is described in the Privacy Policy; it does not create a right to reuse your content for unrelated purposes. We cannot withdraw copies already saved or shared by other people.

8. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains personal data processing and your rights. It is an information notice, not a request for consent to all processing. Optional usage analytics, Sentry crash reporting and the consent-controlled Apple Ads attribution feature use the choices explained there. Essential services and other platform functions are described separately.

9. Other services

Exposed uses service providers for subscriptions, analytics, diagnostics and multiplayer. See Service providers and other recipients. Apple and Google also operate their own stores and game services under their terms.

We remain responsible for our obligations and for providers acting on our behalf as required by law. Using a provider does not exclude our liability to you. Your internet or mobile provider may charge for connectivity.

10. Service quality and statutory rights

You keep all applicable rights concerning the supply and conformity of digital content and services. These can include correction of faults, price reductions, termination and refunds. Statutory rights can also apply to free services; they are not limited here to subscribers.

We will provide updates, including security updates, for the period and to the extent required by law, and the information needed to install them. If something does not work as it should, contact us at the address below.

The App can experience interruptions, errors or maintenance periods. This does not exclude our legal duties or your remedies. There is no general “as is” exclusion of statutory warranties.

UK consumers retain their mandatory rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Australian consumers retain all guarantees and remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Mandatory protections elsewhere also remain effective.

11. Liability and responsibility

Our liability is governed by applicable law. We do not impose a fixed financial cap on consumer claims. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory product liability.

You are responsible for your own conduct to the extent provided by law. These Terms do not require you to indemnify us for every claim connected with using the App, pay our legal costs regardless of fault, or accept responsibility for our conduct.

12. Ending use, suspension and discontinuation

You may stop using Exposed at any time. Manage any subscription separately as explained in section 5. Uninstalling does not erase server data; use the privacy tools or contact us.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, unlawful conduct or a threat to the service or other users. Any restriction must be proportionate. Where reasonable, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to correct the issue or challenge the decision. Immediate action may be necessary for serious safety or security concerns.

If we discontinue a paid feature or end access, we will respect applicable notice, termination and refund rights. You do not lose a mandatory remedy because a store handled payment. We will give reasonable advance notice of a planned discontinuation where practicable. Data handling remains subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law; discontinuation does not mean every record is erased immediately.

13. Changes to the App and these Terms

We may make changes needed to maintain conformity, security or compatibility, or to meet legal requirements. Other changes during a continuing contract need a valid reason, such as adapting to a changed operating system, store requirement or third-party service, and must meet applicable law. They must not impose an additional charge without agreement.

Where required, we will explain a change in advance in a form you can keep. If a change more than slightly harms access to or use of a digital product, you retain any statutory right to end the contract without charge. Under section 327r BGB, the relevant 30-day period runs from receipt of the required notice or from the change if later, subject to the statutory exceptions.

For changes to these Terms, we will provide the revised terms and any required advance notice. We will obtain agreement where the law requires it. Continued use or silence does not automatically accept a material change. If a change cannot lawfully apply without your agreement, the existing terms continue to govern unless the contract is lawfully ended.

14. Law, courts and complaints

German law applies, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections in your country of habitual residence. Mandatory jurisdiction rules remain unaffected. Where those rules allow you to bring proceedings in your home courts, you keep that right. These Terms do not require consumers to litigate exclusively in Berlin or to accept mandatory arbitration.

You may contact us with a complaint. Doing so is not a condition of seeking a remedy from a court, regulator, store or other body available under applicable law.

15. General provisions and language

If a provision is invalid, applicable law governs the consequences. The remaining provisions continue only to the extent the law permits. An invalid term is not automatically replaced with the broadest restriction that might be enforceable.

These Terms do not override individually agreed terms, binding pre-contractual information or mandatory consumer rights. The Privacy Policy does not waive data protection rights.

These documents are written in English. Applicable requirements for local-language information and the interpretation of consumer contracts prevail. A translation does not reduce rights granted by mandatory law.
